Wayne Gibson was born on February 20, 1962 to the late Charles and Joyace Donsereaux Gibson in New Orleans, LA. He parted this life on Monday, July 13, 2026. He married Lisa Newton. To this union, three children were born. The late Warren Lamar Gibson; T’Keyah Shanae’ and Travis Juwuan Gibson. In 2012, he met the lovely Gladies Green and devoted the last 13 years to building a beautiful friendship and relationship. He leaves to cherish his memory, Charles A. (Mary) Gibson Sr. of Marrero, LA; George R. (Diana) Gibson of Waggaman, LA; Joyace G. (Lawrence) Ussin of Pearland, TX ; Dwayne Gibson Sr. of Avondale, LA and Guadelupe Gibson of Harvey, LA. Devoted friends: Brian Landry and Ronald Hampton, and a host of relatives including nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, July 18, 2026 for 1:00 p.m. Church Visitation and Viewing Only.
