Ronald Alphonse Lagarde, age 61, of Marrero, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, just days after celebrating his birthday on April 2, 2026. He was born in New Orleans, LA on April 2, 1965 to the late Armand F. Lagarde Sr. and Carolyn Woods-Lagarde. Ronald was a man of many talents, a true jack of all trades who could fix, build, or figure out just about anything. Whether working with his hands or offering guidance, he carried a natural ability to get things done and help others along the way. Ronald was a proud graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School, Class of 1983. He was also a devoted member of First Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained grounded in faith. In his later years, he served as a dedicated security guard, a role he took great pride in, always carrying himself with responsibility, alertness, and integrity. Beyond his work, Ronald lived life with passion and energy. He had a deep love for motorcycles and fast cars, embracing the thrill of the ride and the freedom it brought him. More than anything, he cherished time spent with family and friends laughing, telling stories, and creating moments that would be remembered forever. He had a natural charm that drew people in, a warm spirit that made others feel welcome, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Ronald was known for his outgoing personality, his infectious laughter, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He was loving, charismatic, and full of life, a man who left a lasting impression wherever he went. He had a generous heart, always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge, or simply offer a smile when someone needed it most. His presence was one of comfort, strength, and joy.
