BANKS Ronald “Sampson” Banks entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Ochsner Medical Center. Beloved son of Elder Vera B. Roscoe; Step-son of Lamar L. Roscoe; Brother of Deborah Banks, Denese B. Lloyd, Donna Banks, LTC Damar K. Jones, the late Harold, Samuel M. and Cedric Paul Banks and Rev. Troy Roscoe Sr.; Brother-in-law of Angela Roscoe, John Johnson, John Jones, Charlotte G. Banks and the late Richard Lloyd; Grandson of the late Josephine P. and Samuel Banks; Great nephew of Marion P. Johnson. Also survived by a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Holy Anointed House of Prayer, Petty Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Life Center Cathedral, Second Zion Baptist Church II, Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries, Elysian Fields Church of Christ, The Way Jesus Christ Christian Church and Westside Baptist Church, Killeen, TX  are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, March 12, 2018 beginning 11:00 a.m. at Littlejohn Funeral Home, 2163 Aubry Street, Rev. Lionel Roberts, officiating. Interment Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell Louisiana with Military Honors. Parlor visitation from 10:00 a.m.until hour of service. Rev. David M.
