Lillie Mae “Big Meech” Williams-Price passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 17, 2026. She was born on August 19, 1964, in Glendora, Mississippi, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Jefferson-Williams and Edro Williams Sr., as well as her daughter, Catina Williams. She was a loving wife to Leo Price, a devoted friend to Wilbert Triggs, and a loving mother of seven daughters and one son—Kimberly Jones (Darnell), Renata Mitchell (Dwayne), Ashley Flores (Rigo), India Belcher (Dennis), Shantell Pugh, Joan Addison (Ted), Ricky Dyer, and the late Catina Williams—as well as one godson, Lamir Fleming. She was a homemaker and cook who filled many lives with love, laughter, and care. Lillie was very family-oriented, outgoing, and brought warmth and joy to those around her. Her siblings include Edro Williams, David Williams, Joan Scott (Lawrence), John Williams, Patricia Williams, Demetrius Givens (Steve), Mark Williams, Catina Fleming (Clarence), and Fenton Williams (Melissa). She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Ray Avenue Baptist Church, 4712 Ray Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70126. Church visitation 9:00 am until the time of the service. Service begins at 10:00 am. Reverend Robert Brown, pastor officiating.
