Johnny Williams, Jr.

Johnny Williams, Jr. was born on June 9, 1940 in uptown New Orleans, LA.  He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 22, 2018.  Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Hilda M. Williams; his children Johnny III (Sherrie), Kermit (Valencia), Rodney (Shaune), Letitia Denson (Oscar), Lorenza Lofton (Donald), Christopher (Madonna) and Janelle Williams; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his brother Jerome Price; his brothers-in-law Aaron Branch, Jr. (Nell – Deceased), Walden Branch and sisters-in-law Marguerite and Diane Price; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Johnny was preceded in death by his mother Anna Mae Williams, his father Johnny Williams, Sr., his brother James Williams, Sr., his sisters-in-law Shirley L. Williams, Vera Branch, Gloria Smith, Nell Branch, Doris Branch and his brother-in-law Joseph Branch. Relatives and friends, also priest and parishioners of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church are invited to attend The Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6828 Chef Menteur Highway, beginning 10am.  Fr. Arockiam Arockiam, SVD, celebrant.  Church visitation 8am until time of Mass. Interment Resthaven Memorial Park.
