Gloria Gillard

Gloria Jean Gillard “Fat Sue”, gained her Angel wings on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La, and the daughter of the late Oscar Sr. and Genieve Pascal Gillard. Gloria worked several jobs and was always the on-call babysitter for many. Gloria leaves to cherish her memories her siblings, Clarence Sr. (Claudia), Alvin (Margie), Ronald Sr. (Edreen) and Thais McKay, Goddaughters: Deborah Gillard Scott and Melody Gillard Alphonse. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings Oscar Jr., John, Gerald, Geraldine and Barbara Gillard. Relatives and friends, also employees of NOPD, State of Louisiana Department of Tourism, Dumas Family Dentistry and Community Voice are welcome to attend the service on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Littlejohn Funeral Home, 2163 Aubry Street, beginning 10 am.
