Consuela Irvin

Consuela Irvin, age 79 of New Orleans, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in Rossville, Georgia. She attended Silver Creek Baptist Church where she served as a musician who sang, played the organ and taught music. Consuela was also a long distance operator for South Central Bell Telephone Company. She was certified in child care and owned a nursery and daycare center. Ms. Connie as she was affectionately called, was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also shared her gift of cooking with the community as the owner of Irvin’s Restaurant in the lower ninth ward. She loved football and basketball, with LeBron James being her favorite player. Her summers were spent on long vacations with her children, traveling the world. Consuela was preceded in death by her father, Willie Moses; mother, Charlena Moses; and stepson, Clarence James Irvin Sr. Those she leaves behind to cherish her precious memories are her loving and devoted husband, Harris Irvin Sr.; daughter, Tacia (Thomas) Taylor; sons, LeRoyal L. Harris Jr., Kendall Richelieu (Keisha) Harris Sr., Jacques Orlando (Tenesha) Irvin and Justin Marc (Andrea) Irvin Sr.; Stepson, Harris (Treonda) Irvin Jr.; stepdaughter, Laura Irvin; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Silver Creek Baptist Church, The Way Jesus Christ Christian Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, June 22, 2024 beginning 9:30 a.m. at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 2515 Franklin Avenue, Dr. David M.
